How to play
Guide your hero around the island, collect lumber and stone, and help the friendly Wildlings build a settlement. Combine base building with action combat and tower defence as you prepare for attacks from the Ferals.
- Gather: collect resources from trees and stone to start building.
- Build: establish your base and help the Wildlings gather more resources.
- Defend: place towers and walls, and fight alongside your defences.
- Upgrade: complete tasks and improve your buildings as your settlement grows.
Getting started
Open the game in your browser, choose an available sign-in provider, and follow the in-game tutorial. Your first sign-in creates your player account. No separate game download or installation is needed; the browser loads the game resources when you open it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Fortcraft free to play?
Yes. Playing is free. Optional Amber packs and permanent unlocks are available as one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions or automatic renewals. See the pricing page for the items and prices.
Do I need an account?
Yes, sign in to play and keep your progress on your account. Use one of the providers offered on the sign-in screen. You can read this introduction and the pricing page without signing in.
How is my progress saved?
Your progress is saved to your account on our servers. Return using the same sign-in provider and account to continue your game. Different provider accounts are separate players.
What is Amber?
Amber is an in-game currency. You earn it by playing and can optionally buy more. Purchased Amber is used up as you spend it; permanent unlocks stay on the account that bought them.
